HVAC Repair Tips for Homeowners

It’s unusual that at the top of the things I’m going to miss about this community is the Heating and A/C business. That’s not exactly the sort of thing you’d normally hear I guess. But in the short time my buddy and I were a member of that community, the Heating and A/C professionals were wonderful to us. My partner and I moved here for work and thought that this would be the locale that my buddy and I would stick to and start a family, but we had both had to relocate numerous times in order to get ahead in our jobs. So having this home and being able to renovate it the way my buddy and I wanted to was a dream come true. There were plenty of wonderful professionals to help us with our vision for the house. But none were more expert or more on top of stuff than the Heating and A/C business. They were suggested by just about anyone my buddy and I asked, and I even asked a stranger in the grocery store and sure enough, she suggested this Heating and A/C business. They took such wonderful care with the heating and cooling in our home. We wanted the latest in residential Heating and A/C but were on a bit of a budget. Still, my buddy and I got a wonderful Heating and A/C unit and all the Heating and A/C technology that we both were hoping for. Along with zone controlled Heating and A/C, my buddy and I had a smart thermostat as well that controlled all the heating and cooling in our home. We had just finished off the home office renovations when my partner found out she had to relocate again. That was a tough one, but the Heating and A/C corporation even helped us sell our house. They gave promotional material for prospective customers on the modern Heating and A/C equipment. And they even gave me a list of suggested Heating and A/C companies to help us with our next home in our new town.

I already miss the Winter, and that’s because I love the type of winter weather that I now get to enjoy.

It’s just so much better than what I lived with for nearly 40 years before.

I never got accustomed to a winter that needed a gas heating system for heat. For sure, I was so thankful to have that gas heating system when it came to having a cozy property while in those rough Winters. Still, when I had the choice to transport to the south, I went for it. The corporation I work for had an opening in the southern office and when I went down there for the interview, I noticed immediately that there was zone controlled Heating and A/C in the building. Every boss I spoke with had a thermostat in their office, so I knew that trading a gas heating system for a heat pump wasn’t going to be awful when it came to the office. I knew that I was going to have plenty of air conditioning comfort if I were to get the opening, and I did get the job and I have genuinely enjoyed living down here. I also met my partner down here which is pretty attractive as well. But this time of year, I’m sort of in mourning when it comes to the fact that winter is over. The temperatures are rising and soon, the air conditioning will be on pretty much all the time. But this year, I’m going to enjoy the sunroom a whole lot more throughout our Summer due to some Heating and A/C technology. We had the Heating and A/C corporation come out and install a ductless heat pump inside our sunroom. So this Summer instead of feeling like it’s an oven out there, I’ll be able to enjoy some cooling comfort instead.

I understand why I was so hesitant to finally ditch the paycheck and go freelance, at least that was truly the plan.

However, I would need to spend some time inside the commercial Heating and A/C of a corporate entity first, as there genuinely wasn’t any other way around it for me. I didn’t want to work for a crucial corporation, even though I didn’t have the money or the experience to go out on my own from the start. I started out in a cubicle nearly a dozen years ago and by the time the pandemic hit, I had been promoted to the floors that had zone controlled Heating and A/C. I was truly rising through the ranks of that business, and indeed I loved getting those paychecks every couple of weeks. I spent plenty of time inside the zone controlled Heating and A/C of the office, even though I made a wonderful living doing it. Still, there was part of me that felt like I was completely selling myself short. It took a global health crisis for me to finally realize that it was time for me to spread my own wings. Working from the central air conditioning of my property genuinely did change my whole perspective when it came to my job. In 2023, I decided to go out on my own and keep toiling from my home but in a freelance capacity. It’s unquestionably upsetting in some senses but it’s also working out genuinely great and I have a ductless heat pump inside my property office that rivals the zone controlled Heating and A/C of my previous office.

I’m actually not suffering and we are already deep into the rebirth of Spring around here. Normally, by the time I’m enjoying all this school hoop, I’m also suffering due to dust irritations. I have such extreme pollen dust irritations that I’m often falling asleep and missing wonderful tournament basketball upsets this time of year, but not this year thanks to air purification. Actually, I’m staying awake inside my home this time of year because I’m not having to take the amount of dust sensitivity meds I normally have. Of course, it’s still no picnic if I have to be outside with all the pollen this time of year. But being inside my home is now a pollen free zone thanks to the whole-home air purifier. This type of UV air purifier works within the Heating and A/C equipment. It uses ultraviolet light to eradicate any and all airborne contaminants, and that means all the bacteria that might be causing aromas gets zapped. That also means the animal dander or freezing virus gets zapped, and for me, the fact that all the tree pollen and grass pollen get zapped out of my air is so liberating. But the whole-home air purifier isn’t just about making my property a pollen free refuge, the whole-home air purifier is also producing the best indoor air quality my buddy and I could possibly get. Not only does the home smell so fresh and disinfected all the time, it’s improving our respiratory health and our immune response. Having genuinely healthy air has made such an incredible difference already, but also knowing that I will not have to deal with pollen inside my property this Spring has made a tremendous difference in my own life.
