There is no simple answer

When faced with simple choices such as what to have for dinner, what film to see, or what color to paint a room, pretty much everyone can come up with a decision with little to no effort.

When it comes to life choices, where to live, what work path to take, or whom to spend your life with, things can get more complicated! You must weigh all the chances carefully because the choice you make can affect you and your family for years to come; My bestie and I have been having a bit of a disagreement over one of the choices for the past two weeks and I am beginning to wonder if my great friend and I will ever agree, then things are pretty severe and I was genuinely starting to feel like she was the “one”.

Then, she asked me, out of the red, if I would be willing to follow him up North due to a task she had been gave. I am a southern girl, born and bred, and I cherish the warmth and sun here. I can’t imagine being cooped up in a condo for six months or more enduring the endless cold and ice. Even with the best of Heating and Air Conditioning system I just know that I will be angry. I will also feel like I am residing in stagnant air because I won’t be able to open the windows and air out the house. I get that this is an opportunity that could make our lives easier, financially, but, I just don’t see how our relationship could survive if I were unhappy with where my great friend and I are residing.

childhood memories

When I first went off to college and moved into the dorms, I was gleeful to not have to hang out in the elements anymore

As I rest pondering the events in my life, I realize that some of my childhood memories are a bit strange. I lived in a small neighborhood most of my life and my great friend and I genuinely didn’t have some of the normal activities that multiple of my college friends talk about all the time. Our neighborhood was a typical one stoplight neighborhood with a small general store, post office, and a gas station. There were no filmplexs, shopping malls, or recreation centers to hang out in, however when my friends talk about these things I find them truly foreign and often wonder what they would guess about the immense barn parties my great friend and I would have back in high school, but i grew up in the midwest too, which meant that my great friend and I had some pretty serious temperatures to contend with, there was no heat or air conditioning in those barns either. Unlike my friends, my great friend and I couldn’t party somewhere that was weather conditions controlled, except for the bonfire my great friend and I may have outside when it was cold. When I first went off to college and moved into the dorms, I was gleeful to not have to hang out in the elements anymore. When my friends wanted to head to the local park on a genuinely tepid day or go ice skating in the winter, I opted to hang back in the comfort of the building and they could never genuinely understand why. I figured, if I had the chance of staying in and having complete control of the temperature, why would I subject myself to the elements to try and have fun? We come from totally unusual worlds and that is what makes life both confusing and interesting at the same time.

Old Heating, Ventilation plus A/C Equipment

I’m the type of man that doesn’t like old things.

I don’t like to keep anything that is over two years old.

For example I don’t like to keep clothes that are ancient. If they are I’ll supply them to Goodwill or friends that like to go thrift shopping. I have to buy everything current I can’t go to thrift store locale it grosses me out. I even update my appliances every three years. This is the year that I will replace my oven and washing equipment and dryer. Not to mention I also have to update my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C equipment. It’s been about fourteen years since the system has been installed. According to my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C provider he tells me to treat my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system like a car. When he came to look at it he said it was time to retire it and replace it. I agreed with him considering the fact there was a lot of repairs that needed to be done; He said it was a nice decision because if an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system is between twelve and fifteen years it’s most likely wasting energy. I didn’t want to waste any more energy or currency. The contractor showed me the dirt that was in the heat exchanger. There wasn’t a lot but he said if the dirt kept building up, there could have been a system breakdown. This is because dirt is the number one factor of system inefficiency. I was ready for the contractor to replace my system with an updated one so it would match with all of my other updated appliances.

A second chance to get it right.

Don’t you just love the Fall weather my pal and I have been having? I sure do! I love when I can drag out the sweatshirts, sip coffee on the porch under a blanket in the afternoon, plus head out to watch a pigskin game at the park.

I love everything about fall, for the most part.

The one thing that I don’t love is the fact that I need to have my Heating plus A/C system diagnosed out before winter. I hate taking the afternoon off just to wait for the professional plus paying the fees to have it diagnosed. I know that I need to do this because if I don’t I may pay for it one afternoon when I wake up to a cold cold house. My Heating plus A/C contractor is the only one in village so I am limited on who I can call. The last time they sent someone out I ended up having to make a second appointment because the guy messed up my furnace. He said that there was a concern with the intake equipment plus harmd it in the process of “trying” to repair it. I was so mad that I wanted to scream. The second professional fixed it free of charge despite the fact that I shouldn’t have to make two appointments when I didn’t even want to make the first one to begin with. I learned my lesson plus ask for the second guy each time plus even if I have to wait for the appointment I don’t mind. At least I feel I can trust him to do a fantastic task for me.
