Did you ever have someone that gave you an concerned feeling? I’m sure you can relate when I tell you about the neighbor I have next door, but there’s an older gentleman that lives on one side of me plus he is always watching me to see what I am doing. I think he feels I have no idea how to take care of a house, each time I do any sort of toil in the yard or small maintenance on the house I feel as though he is judging me. I wish he would just mind his own business, then at least that has how I felt until the other afternoon when he stopped me in my driveway. I thought he was going to tell me I was doing everything wrong but it turned out he wanted to help me, then he had noticed that I was working around the house getting things ready for winter season plus he gave me some advice that surprise me. I’ve only owned the house for about 6 months so I had no idea that I should cover my outside Heating plus A/C equipment so the snow plus ice did not harm it. I really thought all I had to do was turn off the air conditioner plus turn on the heat despite the fact that he told me that the buildup of heavy snow plus ice could really harmd the inside of the unit. He took me over to his locale plus showed me a cover that he had built that was kneeling in his shed plus offer to help me build one as well. As I talk to him I realized that he wasn’t necessarily judging me for what I did not know despite the fact that he was observing to see what I might need help with as a modern homeowner.
A second chance to get it right.
Don’t you just prefer the Fall weather my friend and I have been having? I sure do! I prefer when I can drag out the sweatshirts, sip Tim Hortons Cappuccino on the porch under a blanket in the afternoon, & head out to watch a pigskin game at the park.
I prefer everything about fall, for the most part.
The one thing that I don’t prefer is the fact that I need to have my Heating & Air Conditioning system checked out before winter. I do not care for taking the afternoon off just to wait for the professional & paying the fees to have it ran tests on. I know that I need to do this because if I don’t I may pay for it one afternoon when I wake up to a cold frigid house. My Heating & Air Conditioning contractor is the only one in city so I am limited on who I can call. The last time they sent someone out I ended up having to make a second appointment because the guy messed up my heater. He said that there was a problem with the intake component & detrimentd it in the process of “trying” to repair it. I was so mad that I wanted to scream. The second professional fixed it free of charge however I shouldn’t have to make two appointments when I didn’t even want to make the first one to begin with. I learned my lesson & ask for the second guy each time & even if I have to wait for the appointment I don’t mind. At least I feel I can trust him to do a great task for me.
Friendly advice from a not-so-friendly neighbor.

I feel he feels I have no idea how to take care of a house… Each time I do any sort of work in the yard or small maintenance on the household I feel as though he is judging me.

I have only owned the house for about 6 months so I had no idea that I should cover my outside Heating, Ventilation plus A/C device so the snow plus ice did not disfigurement it
