When they provided tech school over his last various years of school, he asked if they provided Heating plus Air Conditioning classes. I was sitting in the living room last summer, when a freak storm came out of nowhere.

It was from bright sunshine, to cloudy plus raining. The lightning was lighting up the sky plus making the dark light up. I was just walking away from the sink when I saw a flash of lightning plus heard the sound of metal plus then both of us saw smoke, lightning had struck our A/C unit. The A/C device quit working, plus there was nothing more I could do. I called the Heating plus Air Conditioning business, however they weren’t going to come out until the storm passed. They said the storm should be over in an hour, plus they would send someone out right after. Two hours later, the Heating plus Air Conditioning specialist was sitting in our backyard, with water above his ankles. The A/C device had a huge hole in the front, where the lightning had struck. He said there was nothing he could do for the A/C unit, plus it was ‘dead in the water’. He laughed at his own joke, however I didn’t guess he was funny. It was the middle of summer, plus both of us couldn’t go without A/C. He said both of us would need to wait a few days, because they had to order a current A/C device plus install it. They couldn’t install an A/C device until the water soaked into the ground, plus with the storms going through, he was afraid that could take a week or more. I groaned thinking about going for a week or more without A/C, however I understood why they couldn’t do the upgrade while sitting in a puddle of water.

I did a quick visit to see my Grandparents. They are in their 74s and I am about to have a baby. I knew I had a small window on seeing them. Once I have the baby I won’t be traveling for a while. They also act prefer they are at death’s door anytime you talk to them. I did it to make them glad. I stayed for two afternoons and was a guest at their house. My Grandma was glad by this. What stunk is that I didn’t take into consideration how older people live. My Grandparents don’t have the circulation I do. That means that their house is much warmer than mine. I went from my southern cabin to a northern home. My southern outdoor temperature was in the 74s so that meant my A/C was on. My Grandparents had an outdoor temperature of 50 and had their furnace on, however since their circulation is low, they set their control unit to around 74 degrees. It was horribly tepid the entire time. I ended up wearing shorts and a tank top my whole visit with them. Sleeping at night was rough. I used just a bed sheet and slept in my underwear. Anytime they weren’t around I was opening a window or just sitting outside. I don’t assume how they could be comfortable in that kind of temperature. It truthfully was more comfortable being outside down south than inside their northern home. I didn’t think it was right to ask them to adjust their control unit settings for me either. So I just suffered.

Dad and I are quite close, and she has always been able to speak to myself and others about anything happening in her life, but when she asked myself and others for supper about 6 months ago, I thought the people I was with and I were just going to have a charming chat, however every one of us talk about everything and anything under the sun, but being so honest and open with my dad has always helped myself and others figure out my life, then she is the one who entirely encouraged myself and others to be with my partner when I wasn’t sure about my decision, however dad has severe instincts that she says have guided him through life… I got ready and the people I was with and I met up at our number one eating establishment in the city. She was looking sharp as usual, and had already picked a table by the time I arrived, after placing our orders, dad started speaking about the Heating and A/C business! This is a corporation that she started decades ago and has been laboring to build for so long, then now that she is in her 60s, dad has been thinking about the future of the Heating and A/C business! My partner has been laboring for him for almost 15 years. In fact, the people I was with and I met when I went to see my dad one day and hit it off. Now, dad was talking about leaving him in charge of the Heating and A/C business. I knew my dad enjoyed my partner, however I never thought he’d option him to be in charge of the corporation when she retired. That was so amazing since my partner honestly likes and dedicates himself to the business. In dad’s mind, my partner would keep the corporation in the family, and perhaps one day pass it on to one of our youngsters.
