Old Heating and A/C Equipment

I’m the type of person that doesn’t like outdated things.

I don’t like to keep anything that is over two years old; For example I don’t like to keep clothes that are outdated. If they are I’ll give them to Goodwill or friends that like to go thrift shopping. I have to buy everything new I can’t go to thrift store location it grosses me out. I even update my appliances every three years. This is the year that I will update my oven and washing machine and dryer. Not to mention I also have to update my Heating and A/C equipment. It’s been about fourteen years since the system has been installed. According to my Heating and A/C provider he tells me to treat my Heating and A/C system like a car, when he came to look at it he said it was time to retire it and update it. I agreed with him considering the fact there was a lot of repairs that needed to be done. He said it was a fantastic decision because if an Heating and A/C system is between twelve and fifteen years it’s most likely wasting energy. I didn’t want to waste any more energy or money. The worker showed me the dirt that was in the heat exchanger. There wasn’t a lot however he said if the dirt kept building up, there could have been a system breakdown. This is because dirt is the number one factor of system inefficiency. I was ready for the worker to update my system with an updated one so it would match with all of my other updated appliances.

Different Types of Heat Pumps

I’m in the process of building a house, however building a home is long and stressful, however in the start it was fun designing the plans of my house.

It was also fun having a fantastic amount of money and being able to spend it on new appliances and furniture, and now I have to watch what I buy for my home since my budget is running a little low! One of the necessities that I wanted to install in my household was a heat pump! There have been fantastic reviews about them and a lot of my relatives have them in their house.

I went to an Heating and A/C company and asked them if it would be beneficial in my house. They agreed and asked a few of the dimensions in my house. The workers told me that there are two types of heat pumps. The first heat pump is called an air source heat pump. This type is one of the more popular heat pumps that are installed and it’s straight-forward to spot. This system can be linked to a heating and cooling system or into a ductless mini split system. The other one that he mentioned was a ground source or “geo thermal” heat pump. This is one of the most energy efficient Heating and A/C systems that are available. It uses the consistent temperature of the earth, ensuring particularly efficient year round performance regardless of the temperature outside, but after I hear this type of heat pump I was particularly interested. I wanted the geo thermal heat pump installed in my home. I set up an appointment with them and I hope to have it installed in the next week.
