HVAC Repair Tips for Homeowners

Today I am going to book my flight back home for a several week visit over the Christmas holiday.

I wasn’t sure I would be able to go back home, however now with this roommate moving in soon I will have the money to do so.

She is an orthodontic student in a town about 30 blocks away, so she would be gone most of the day and night during the week. I undoubtedly hope she moves in because she seems to have a similar mindset to me, and also has experience working in the heating, ventilation and A/C field from years ago. Both of us would be able to talk about A/C compressors and hot water boilers, and have some things in common. I would be ecstatic to have half of the living expenses shared by someone else, as I have been living alone in this flat and bearing the brunt of the bills for almost a year now. I wouldn’t have to spend all of the money I earn from the heating, ventilation and A/C company where I work to pay for my rent and utilities anymore, and that is just stupendous. I could really start saving some money again and building a buffer in the bank once more. My heating and cooling unit could be worked on properly again by paying for a two year service contract from the local company in my town. Money makes a lot of things possible, however it is not the key to happiness, so don’t give it too much importance in your life story. I wish you luck and remember to clean your washable HEPA filter!

This is my life; writing about heating, ventilation and A/C equipment like electric heat pumps and oil furnaces, and trying to navigate through life in a fun way.

I’ve made it a point to try and live life in a fun and exciting way, and it has proven to be a challenging, but fun way to get through life in the end. I don’t want to be one of those complaining people who gripe about how exhausting everything is in the world. Why even get out of bed if that is how your life is? Heating, ventilation and A/C systems and electric furnaces are not the most exciting things to write about, but I try to like the writing process and have a little bit of fun with the articles. I could be one of those people who gripe about how exhausting their work is, but then it just makes it all the more hard to do it each day. My life is pretty darn fantastic and I am trying to keep it that way by remaining positive in the mind and in what I think and say. My heating specialist friend got myself and others going with positive thinking and talking five years ago, and he also got us into meditation, which has undoubtedly helped myself and others with patience, among other things. I just got off the phone with a potential roommate and I think he is going to be a great one, as he has a fantastic mindset and seems to be upbeat about life. He works for a local company in a town near me also.

How I ended up living out of the states was due to my pursuit of comedy, and it has shown me a lot about life in doing so.

Life is about living and having new experiences, and moving over here has fulfilled both of those criteria quite well. The only disadvantage is I don’t get to see my family that much anymore and some of them have been passing away while I’ve been here. I am going to book a flight this week and get back for the winter holidays for some more experiences in life. My heating, ventilation and A/C rep mom isn’t going to be there when I go back home this time for my visit, so it is going to be a bittersweet reunion with my hometown. I will get a rental car with a fantastic air conditioner because the weather back home is undoubtedly going to be on the warmer side! Another option is to just Uber around everywhere, however that could get pretty pricey the way that I bounce around every day. I may do some heating and cooling equipment repairs when I go back to work for my local company friend and then it won’t matter if I rent a car or not. I just want to be with my family when Christmas comes because if not, I am going to be undoubtedly anxious and lonely staying in this big flat alone on Christmas afternoon. I have a fantastic heating, ventilation and A/C unit here to keep myself and others comfy, however that doesn’t do anything for warming my heart. That is my family’s job!

When I woke up this morning the thermometer said it was 48F outside, inside it was not much warmer at 58F, so I turned on the gas fireplace to warm up the bedroom and living room areas.

My cats were huddled next to each other on the sofa sleeping away when I woke up this afternoon.

I assume they would like a little warmth in the afternoon with my climate control unit too. Nobody loves to be chilly all of the time. This bubble man from last night, who is homeless, told me he sleeps in this little sleeping back in the hills. Without any heating device he must have been so chilly this afternoon sleeping on that chilly hard ground. I wish I could help him, but I am barely scraping by myself trying to rent this flat alone. The heating and cooling bills have been pushing myself and others in a corner trying to pay them, but I am going to have a cool heating, ventilation and A/C tech roommate soon and things will be sunny again. It’s just that my landlord said no subletting my rooms, however there is no way one man with my income could afford to live alone here, so I am going to have to go behind his back and get a roommate. I assume having someone in the heating, ventilation and A/C industry, who is also a fantastic woman and professional, is going to be my best option for someone to live with. I will meet with the landlord if he finds out and try to talk him into letting us both stay here.
