I won a complimentary furnace/heater tune-up from the draw

The local heating business was having a raffle ticket draw to raise money for charity and provide quality heating to the needy.

They announced the draw to the locals, who were all invited.

I made sure to attend because one of the prizes was a complimentary heat pump service. My heating device was due for annual service, but I was broke. I had just bought another car for the business and needed more money for maintenance. I have a lucky streak regarding draws, as I always win something, no matter how small. The homeowner solutions company organizing the event had a hat filled with random numbers they would shuffle and pick the winning cards. Before starting the draw, the HVAC professionals took questions from the audience about maintaining the longevity and proper function of the heating equipment, including the electric furnace. A question I often see in such gatherings is whether a homeowner can install or run a furnace/heater tune-up independently. I have researched the same and discovered that if you are not a qualified HVAC technician, you cannot do the process as it needs special equipment and know-how. Another interesting question I heard was whether an old system could still provide quality indoor comfort. One of the HVAC suppliers answered this by saying it could as long as it was well taken care of by frequent maintenance. When the questions were over, the heating contractor drew the ruffles, and I had the winning number. My dual fuel system would at least be serviced and for free! The experts were at my house the following week to run maintenance.

Listening to the glory days of my dad in his heating business

Thanksgiving holiday is one of my favorite holidays of all time.

  • I enjoy it because I always get to see my family.

We all live in different states but see each other during Thanksgiving. It has been a routine since history to go back home for Thanksgiving. We play games in my parents’ yard and enjoy each other’s company at the dinner table. Dad loves telling stories of his heyday. He enjoyed his time working at his heating business. He was a successful HVAC professional who started a business in the homeowner solution association. When he retired, he sold the company some years ago, but he still remembers how fun and inspiring it was. I usually meet some of his ex-students, who tell me how good a businessman my dad was. His glory days include being involved in manufacturing and producing some of the best heating devices in the market. Dad says that one of his favorite heating equipment is the dual-fuel system. The reason is its efficiency and innovativeness. He once went out on a furnace/heater tune-up job with his team of heating contractors at the white house. This was an experience he will never forget because he even has photos. The electric furnace was broken, and since the president had heard of the great things dad and his company were doing, he commissioned them for the job. He was also vending great heating products from multiple HVAC supplier stores within his service business. While on the heat pump service job at the white house, he met the then-president, who thanked him for providing quality heating and maintaining indoor comfort at the most important building in the country. My brother has followed in dad’s footsteps and is now a renowned HVAC technician with a big firm.

The importance of regular furnace/heater tune-up on your unit

There was a big feast at my parent’s house last week, and my siblings and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

My parents were celebrating the golden jubilee of their marriage and had invited most of the family members and close friends.

They had prepared much for the event, including running a furnace/heater tune-up on their dual-fuel system. The team of HVAC technicians that handled the heat pump service were the same ones that had done the maintenance on my parent’s heating device. Since I was involved in the ceremony preparations, I was present when the HVAC professionals arrived. After giving dad’s heating equipment a clean bill of health, they gave them a polite earful about the importance of regular servicing of the device. One of the great reasons was to increase the unit’s lifespan no matter the type. Even an electric furnace needs frequent repairs and maintenance. To get any unit to provide quality heating and indoor comfort, the heating contractor reiterated the significance of bi-annual maintenance for large and quarterly for smaller appliances. The HVAC supplier explained that the care of a unit eventually saves the owner money for used up in frequent repairs. They told us something I had heard in the grapevine that was confirmed. The experts said the homeowner solution association, the umbrella organization for all the heating businesses in the country, would start giving talks to educate the homeowners on how to maintain their units. My parents were seriously taking notes as the experts went on giving them vital information. Some of their friends could attest to what the experts had discussed since they had their systems for more than one and a half decades.

The most efficient HVAC technician team in the industry

I was visiting my friend last week, and I found her waiting for a team of HVAC technicians to fix her malfunctioning electric furnace.

  • I had not seen my friend for months because we both work full time and have families, which left little time to hang out like we used to.

I have known her for quite a long time and love her like my sister. We have shared many secrets and always try to be there for one another. Her heating device made unusual noises that kept the entire household awake at night. It would also go off and on independently, and sometimes the thermostat would not function. She had contacted the heating business after failing to figure out the issue causing the symptoms on her heating equipment. The HVAC professionals were on time for their appointment and started working on the system. They removed, fixed the leaks, and lubricated the parts rubbing against each other and making an unusual noise. Since we had to wait for the HVAC supplier to deliver the parts briefly, we took time and had tea with the team to get to know them better. We discovered that they had worked in one of the biggest corporations in the country, and some of them sat on the committee of the homeowner solution association. Within three hours, my friend’s system was up and running silently. The quality of indoor comfort increased significantly, and so did quality heating, which she had earlier complained about. The specialists emphasized the need for regular furnace/heater tune-ups to maintain the optimal function of the unit. I had heard my heating contractor highlight the heat pump service for the proper and prolonged operation of my dual fuel system. They were a great and efficient team.
