HVAC Repair Tips for Homeowners

I am one of the most soft hearted people you will ever meet when it comes to creatures.

It doesn’t matter the type, with the exception of snakes! Even at that, I will not harm them unless they are poisonous and in my territory.

At any rate, I try and make the lives of most creatures, wild or domestic, as comfortable as possible. Heck, we even buy immense bags of cracked corn and parakeetseed to feed all the wildlife that stop in the yard all winter time long. The weather this winter time has been particularly extreme. I let my own dogs out for just a few moments at a time, just long enough to finish their corporation and come back into the heated environment. Now, I know I can’t do this for everyone, but, I am trying to recognize of a way for the wild turkeys that come each morning to go into my old chicken coop. I no longer have chickens and it would be shelter for them. I even have heat lamps out there so they could be hot during the long cold afternoons. They could come and go as they gratified, have a food source, and be able to hot up a bit. I just feel sorry for them resting out in the ice and snow each morning. My husband may not love the increase in the electric bill from running heat lamps in the coop all the time and that is honestly my only reason for not doing that, i am cheerful that my own creatures have a comfortable place to live. They have the benefit of a great Heating and Air Conditioning system and are not subjected to the environment all morning long.

I think the locale I am most at peace is at the shore.

I know that everyone trip by the ocean for the sun & the sand.

They care about laying out in the warmth of the sun all day long & getting a great tan. I am the polar opposite. During the heat of the day, I spend my time either in the shade of a palm tree reading or in the condo with the A/C running. I simply do not like being hot. I get up early so that I can sit outside, care about my coffee, & take in the view along with the cool ocean breeze that blows. The smell of the air is just heavenly. By late afternoon the air starts to heat up for the day & I retreat back inside. I spend the day puttering around the condo & wait for the sun to begin to set. I may take a ride into neighborhood & visit some local shops if they are air conditioned however for the most part I am somewhat of a hermit during the day. Once the sun sets, I take walks on the beach or head back to neighborhood to care about the nightlife… People who trip at the beach are so much fun to hang out with & talk to. The area vendors stay late so I can always to see them when it is cool & comfortable out. I am grateful that I have the option to live in such a great locale. I am more grateful that I have an awesome Heating & A/C system to keep me comfortable during the tepid sunny mornings. Very rarely do I need to have the heat on. During the winter time my associate and I have genuinely mild temperatures. I do have a couple of portable heaters that I can use in the event it gets too chilly in the condo however that is a rarity for sure.

I have been accused on more than one occasion of being too soft hearted. I tend to take on projects to help others even when it totally conflicts with my time schedule & lifestyle. I think that this is a great quality in everyone however mine can be too a fault sometimes. I have & especially soft spot when it comes to pets. I have often said I would care about to foster homeless pets & cats however fear that they would all become “foster failures” as i would not want to provide them up. That being said, our local shelter put out an urgent call for temporary fosters last year when their Heating & A/C system broke down. They needed people to condo some of the pets for a week or so while they arranged for repairs. The understanding was that the pets would be returned to them once they had everything up & running. I convinced my family to allow me to foster two of the puppies that they had that were about 12 weeks old. They were so cute that almost everyone agreed to the temporary set up. I think my wife knew in the back of her mind this was not a great idea. The puppies arrived & they were just adorable. The shelter said that they had a serviceman that would be out the following week to make the repairs & that they would contact to let us know when to bring them back. It turns out that the Heating & A/C serviceman tried to service the concern however found that the system needed to be substituted. The shelter is a non-profit & it does not have the money to do that at this time, and i wish I have the funds to provide them however I don’t. The only help I can supply is a passionate condo for these two adorable puppies until they can get it fixed. This is a win for me as I can’t bear to part with them now anyway.

I am genuinely gleeful to be heading to the state park for a fishing trip in two weeks. It has been a genuinely taxing summer time & I legitimately need to get away. The idea of sitting by the water with a fishing pole in hand, soaking up the sun, & enjoying the view, seems like perfection to me. My buddy and I are going with my wife’s uncle & uncle for a three day trip. The only thing I am upset about is the weather. The long range forecast is calling for sun & mid 69’s during the day however mid 50’s at night. The cottage my associate and I are renting has no heat other than the fireplace. I am used to my Heating & A/C system that keeps me cool or warm depending on the weather. I recognize I am spoiled in that I can control my home’s temperatures with the push of a button. My buddy and I even have Smart Thermostats which means that my associate and I can change the temperature while my associate and I are away with our PCs. Being addicted to technology makes it taxing to imagine trying to keep the fire going through the night to stay warm. Although I am greatly looking forward to spending time with my wife in the quiet surroundings. I am worried about the other parts of the trip. I will make the best of it I am sure as my associate and I do not get this option to escape genuinely often. Hoping to catch some fish & at least be able to have a fresh fish breakfast one of the days, and that is always a treat.
