I think I’m feeding my cats too much food as they seem to be getting too heavy too quickly, so now I am going to stop feeding them moist food in the morning. They really like the moist food in a can but I think they are just eating too much each day so I am going to cut out the canned food and just stick with the boring dry food. If I keep feeding them canned food I think I will have two fat cats on my hands within a year. I want to rent out my main bedroom so I am going to need to do a good cleaning before showing the room. I may have this HVAC tech come look at the room because she is looking for a room and we have worked together for years and get along well. She told me that she likes cats so it shouldn’t be a problem as I have two cats. My knees have been really hurting from all of the deep jumps I’ve been doing in the sand for our volleyball matches.

I’ve been working on jumping higher and squatting way down before jumping is the best way to achieve that. Unfortunately, my knees don’t like all of the stress from it and I now have jumpers knees where my patellar tendon is inflamed and painful. I just need to rest them for a few days and it will subside, and the rainy day today is helping me do just that. My HVAC specialist friend told me that just three or four days off of playing will heal my knees very well. So today is day two of not playing and I just need to make it through tomorrow without playing and I will be better. The local business sells a pain relieving gel and I am going to go there today to get some. My knees are feeling a bit better today though so the rest is for sure helping them recover. I am going to the heating business today to see if they sell any space heaters because I need one and want to get it before the cold season comes. They usually run out of them when we get the first cold snap so I want to rush and get one now so I will be nice and warm in my office when winter comes. I have a central heating unit but I would rather use a small radiant heater to heat my office each day. Seasons keep on coming at us.

I just contacted the HVAC business and set up an a/c repair appointment to get my AC fixed.

I’m not sure what happened but it just stopped working last night and now my house is about 87F.

It’s amazing how quickly the house heats up once the AC stops working. I think last night I had my thermostat set to 68F, which was the temp this morning when I got up, but then about six hours later it already heated up almost 20 degrees. I think it was from the sun coming into the living room and heating the floors up. I didn’t think about closing the drapes till it was too late and the house was already heated up. I hope the HVAC tech can fix it today or I don’t know how I will sleep tonight. I bet my bedroom will be 90F tonight if the AC isn’t working. Maybe I will have to rent a hotel room for the night but I don’t even know if they have any rooms available as it is the peak season of summer right now. If my HVAC system broke down a month from now then getting a hotel room wouldn’t be a problem as everyone leaves the city in the beginning of September. I think school starts on the 5th of the month and people have to get back to their lives before then. We are a vacation spot for tourists in the summer so this place is packed all summer which is great for all of the local businesses.
