So we’re more than a month into summer heat season and it’s going better than it ever has when it comes to the cooling comfort of my home. Where I live, there is no doubt that HVAC cooling is a big priority during the summer. Actually, for many folks, the air conditioning can be on for nearly 8 months of the year. That’s a lot of air conditioning and really not the way I prefer to deal with the heat and humidity. When you are living with air conditioning for 8 months of the year, it’s almost like being in denial about the heat. I don’t want to judge and there are people out there who simply have to deal with a more air conditioning due to health problems or other stuff like that. For me, I’ve always tried to get acclimated during the spring when the temperatures begin to rise. I wait til the temps are consistently in the 90’s before I reach for the thermostat. Waiting a bit helps me get accustomed to the level of heat we experience in this region. But this year, I also decided to do a few other things in order to enjoy HVAC cooling comfort without breaking the bank. I started with sealing the house up tight to keep the HVAC cooling inside and the heat outside. And stopping the direct sunlight heating with solar drapes has also made a very big difference. It’s July now and we still have a long way to do when it comes to heat season. But the utility bills are significantly lower and I’m so thankful for that.

The bad things were that the air conditioning was bad. This did not stop me from going there to check it out though because you never know. And I was glad I did, because not only was this sports bar a great place to take in the ballgames and hang out with great people, but the air conditioning was not bad at all! I am not sure if maybe they fixed their central heating and air conditioning since people were saying the bad stuff or if in fact people did not know what they were talking about. I actually felt great indoor comfort from the central air conditioning while it was really hot outside. Also I have to say the air quality was pretty good too because they do not allow smoking in there. If you smoke you have to go outside to do so, which people were doing. I have never in my life experienced such a great sports bar with great people like this. I am glad I did not listen to the reviews about the central air conditioning and decided to try it out. Obviously, others had the same thoughts I did otherwise it would not have been as packed as it was with so many people having a great time and enjoying themselves. The central air conditioning is not bad at all. I will review that online and anywhere I can to let people know it is ok to come in!

Now that I decided to go and buy a smart thermostat to give it a shot, I am so glad that I did because this smart thermostat is nothing short of perfect. It is the best solution to running your central heating and air conditioning system with ease. It is what the heating and cooling industry has been waiting for for years in my opinion! I am so glad that it is finally here. It not only makes running your central heating and air conditioning system so convenient but it also saves you a lot of money on energy use from not having to run the central heating and air conditioning system when you are not home. This is because you can program it to turn off and on when you are not home and then when you are coming home. Or you can completely do it yourself manually with the cell phone app that comes with the smart thermostat to control it remotely from anywhere in the world. It is a really amazing piece of heating and air conditioning technology to finally hit the market. I do not know what took me so long to actually go and try one of these smart thermostats. But as I mentioned, I am so glad that I did! I did not know what I was missing all this time.

 

Heating technology

I am so excited about tomorrow. It is the day that my brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system will be installed and delivered. I have been waiting for this for weeks! I had ordered the central heating and air conditioning system and it took about a week for it to come in. Then once it was finally in I was able to set up the HVAC appointment to have the local heating and air conditioning company send out a team of certified heating and cooling specialists to install my brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. And tomorrow is finally that day! It is going to be nice having a new heating and cooling unit because my old one has been on its way out for a while now not giving me the best power for my heating and air conditioning. And with as cold as it is right now I need quality central heating more than ever. And while I wasn’t exactly getting it these last month, now I will finally have it. The heating and air conditioning company is set to come out at around 10am to do the removal of the old heating and air conditioning system and to install the brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. The job is supposed to take about 4 hours to do as long as they do not run into any issues. Which I am hoping they do not because I want my brand new central heating and air conditioning system installed!
