I’ve noticed that a lot of people tend to upgrade their air conditioning units during the summer. Then, as the oppressive heat kicks up down here in the South, home air conditioning units are running overtime. It is a regular occurrence to see air conditioning business trucks as well as vans parked outside of homes installing and fixing a/c systems. My neighbor is a mechanic and he works on a lot of air conditioning business vans throughout the summer because of how much they travel! During their tied up season, air conditioning companies can travel up to one hundred miles per day, so it’s no wonder they require so much maintenance. The funny thing is that the air conditioning systems within the vans themselves quite often need to be repaired because of the heat. Installing air conditioning units is such a hassle, so the specialists definitely want to be sure they are staying cool and hydrated. This is why I have decided to market my homemade lemonade product to air conditioning companies in the summer. My lemonade is fresh-squeezed and full of minerals and electrolytes that hydrate the body. Lots of other lemonade options on the market may be full of sugars as well as unnecessary added ingredients. When you live in the South, it’s important to stay hydrated in the intense summer heat, so I’m intensely proud of the way I am helping people stay healthy with a delicious lemon treat. Even though me and my boyfriend have been together for many years, we recently experienced a difficult time in our relationship.

We bought a pet cat shortly after getting married, but the poor thing was hit by a car a month ago.

The two of us have been so torn up about it and we didn’t know what to do about the sad situation, so we decided to take a road trip. The two of us were already filled with frustrations at the very onset of our trip, but it got even worse a mere two hours in. It was three in the afternoon, and the a/c in our vehicle gave out. Normally I would have said let’s keep going without the air conditioning unit, but it was in the middle of a summer heat wave. Neither of us wanted to continue the trip in such conditions, so I called the nearest HVAC business to see if we could get it checked out and fixed. The entire drive over to the mechanic shop, my boyfriend just kept complaining about how everything seemed to be going wrong for the two of us. When we reached the mechanic, he gave us a quote and told us that he would have the air conditioning device up and running in a couple of hours. At first, we had decided to sit and wait, but we got hungry and we wanted to get out of the heat, so we went to a nearby restaurant. The cool air conditioning there soothed our hearts, and we were finally able to share our feelings. We were able to mourn the loss of our pet, and grow closer together as a couple. The rest of the trip was just amazing for the both of us, and I am so grateful that we had to make that pit stop.

I have a big family, so to say that our life gets busy is very true.

• There always seems to be half a dozen things going on all at once, because I have so many people pulling at me for various things, but I am grateful for my family, and do the best I can to provide for them.

Last month, our air conditioning device broke, and it could not have happened at a worse time. We are in the middle of a heat wave, and the price to replace an air conditioning device is much higher than it would be in the off season. On top of all this, with all the summer trips we planned as a family, replacing a new air conditioning would definitely put a damper on such things. I even had a difficult time scheduling an HVAC mechanic to come out and inspect our new air conditioning unit. I am rarely home, and the HVAC business didn’t exactly have many openings to come out and visit. Our kids were concerned when I had to cancel their plans and activities, but I reminded them that getting the air conditioning device fixed as quickly as possible would allow them to get back to their familiar routines. For one thing, the entire family felt very hot at night ever since the air conditioning broke. We are used to very cool temperatures at night. This whole process was a headache, but I’m ecstatic that we were able to get the a/c taken care of.

I’ve always struggled with keeping up with my HVAC system.

I can barely remember to schedule an HVAC tune up once per year, so I’m not sure how other households are able to schedule two HVAC tune ups per year.

It’s something I’ve never been able to master, nor do I think I ever will. My HVAC system has always functioned well and I experience next to no issues. However, if there comes a time when I’m experiencing more issues or my HVAC efficiency is decreasing, then I may have to find time to schedule a second HVAC tune up. For now though, one is better than none. One thing I do really need to improve though is my air filter replacement. I have the HVAC professional replace the dirty air filter when they come to tune the entire HVAC system, but it’s hard for me to remember it after that. It’s not until I notice a difference in my air quality that I remember to put a new air filter in. The other day, I received an advertisement in the mail from the local hardware store about an air filter subscription plan. If I put my credit card on file and selected the air filter I needed, then the company would send me a new air filter every three to six months depending on the rate I wanted to receive them. I don’t know of any households that do this, but it sounded perfect for me. I’m still debating on signing up, but I think it will really help with my air quality.
