HVAC Repair Tips for Homeowners

Before our son became successful as a musician, he always spoke of going to record at an official studio.

I didn’t see why he couldn’t just work on his computer and come up with professional recordings, but he spoke of how important professional recording equipment was to the quality of the audio tracks he would make.

So I took him to one of the studios he wanted to go to and I was shocked at the high prices to use the studio each hour. I’m talking about $200 per hour and my son said that was on the cheap side considering the quality of the recording equipment and having no sound interference. You could even adjust the temperature control settings while in the recording booth so that you could really get into the music with the greatest of comfort. I had to admit, the studio was really nice and I was impressed with the air quality and temperature control settings as soon as we stepped into the place. My son did a great job with his recording sessions and was able to put some amazing tracks together. There were times when he was working his magic with the music where I practically forget this was my own child who was doing this. He’s so talented and these days, he’s basically a local celebrity. Of course now, he has his own professional studio in his house with the finest HVAC system around along with a powerful UV air purification system. Now he charges people to record music for 500 per hour, but the studio is so nice and he attracts some of the most talented musicians.

I don’t usually get into romantic comedy shows or anything, but I got into one recently. It honestly seemed kind of corny in the beginning, but then you get to know the characters and there’s an interesting story line. In this particular romance comedy, the main guy in the story sees visions of his future. I would have to imagine that having such a gift or a curse depending on your perspective, would be quite agonizing. In this case, the man keeps seeing his death and how he can only think about his loved one, this lady that he didn’t know for very long. Yet there’s a crazy series of circumstances that causes them to fall madly for each other, yet there’s a huge secret the man was keeping from the lady. When she finds out, she goes into a rage and realizes in a crazy way, this man was her enemy all along. The thing is, the secret is more of an embarrassing misunderstanding that caused her a great deal of pain and misery. Regardless of things, they both eventually miss each other so much that they decide to put the past behind them. Now they have been having good times, and then bad times and it keeps going back and forth. Things are cool and then hot, and then cool, and while this drama has been somewhat stressful to watch, I have found myself adjusting the climate control settings in my room constantly while watching it. When these people aren’t getting along, it makes me want to crank the AC system for some reason, maybe because I feel uncomfortable. I think after watching this tortuous show where I am not certain if the guy is really going to die or not, I think I’ll look into a regular comedy. Hopefully my AC system doesn’t break down in the meantime from too much usage.

Something our daughter was adamant about was making sure to do what she could to help save the environment.

She always said how pollution to the environment was putting animals in danger and causing the extinction of many species around the planet.

She said this was not right and there was no reason why human beings couldn’t work harder to save the environment instead of continuing to pollute everything. I always thought she had good points with everything, but she pushed it on us though. She said that we needed to think about trading in our gas guzzling cars for hybrid or electric vehicles. She also started talking about our HVAC equipment. She gave us a big deal about using disposable air filters that were filling up landfills somewhere when we could invest in washable air filters. She also said that our HVAC system was too old and we should consider investing in a system that doesn’t pollute the environment like a geothermal HVAC system. She’s really too smart because I didn’t even know about geothermal HVAC systems. As for the other things, I explained to her that we would try to do better, but we could only do so much at a time. We invested in a hybrid vehicle, but it will take awhile before we can invest in a geothermal HVAC system. We have been using washable air filters though which I think is a big step for us. I probably would never have thought to do these things if not for our daughter trying to push us in the right direction.

When our son was younger, he always enjoyed listening to hip hop and music with funky beats.

While we didn’t want him listening to music that was too over the top, he found a lot of underground music that was surprisingly more appropriate than a lot of that mainstream garbage.

He even managed to find a lot of interesting Christian hip hop which is something I never even knew existed before he found it. It wasn’t long before he was coming up with his own lyrics and practicing his own rhyming. He asked around that time if he could have a window AC unit because sometimes he felt a little too overheated in his room. He knew that I didn’t want him messing with the thermostat for the central cooling system either. I’m glad that he asked for a window AC unit because I thought it was a reasonable request and it was a good reward for him getting such good grades in school. It also helped him a lot with his music. He said when the AC settings were just right, he could spit his rhymes easier and it made recording more enjoyable as well. He said it also somehow gave him better creativity when putting together new instrumentals. We’ve been nothing but impressed with him over the years. We’ve watched most of his performances and now he is making a lot of money with his own independent record label. Now he works with artists to get them in the spotlight, and he makes a pretty good living. He has a nice home with excellent zoned HVAC equipment along with his own indoor studio.
