Our A/C system is honestly old plus while all of us were told to have it updated instead of fixing it, all of us just didn’t have the cash to do so. So now here all of us are calling for A/C repair again because our cooling system broke down again. Honestly, if I realized that the A/C system was just going to keep splitting down over plus over again, I might have listened to the HVAC experts when they said to have it updated. They warned us how the A/C system was basically on its way out plus it might not even be worth the cost to have it repaired. They said there was no guarantee that the cooling system would even last through this summer time season, plus I thought it was a risk all of us would have to take. I felt like I still needed to save up more cash so that all of us could pay for the whole thing. My partner said all of us should have just gotten on a payment plan, plus I honestly do wish I would have listened to her. So finally after calling for repair again, the HVAC professionals ended up telling us that they could no longer repair the cooling system anymore because it was completely dead plus useless at this point. That’s when I had to try to force a smile on my face plus I asked them if they had any wonderful deals on newer cooling systems. I also had to ask them about their payment system possibilities of course, but luckyly all of us were able to find something within our budget.

I’m not even sure why I thought we could just have our heat pump repaired.

Every one of us bought this lake current home in the South about 2 years ago as well as this heat pump has been working fine.

Of course, it was going on 20 years of age as well as it made sense that it would be about time for it to be substituted. It was interesting though because it was undoubtedly energy efficient while it was working for us while in these past 2 years. I never really thought too much about using overpriced air filters in the past.

I just used air filters that I thought had a reasonable MERV rating as well as that would keep the air quality alright in our home! One day though, our sibling was raving about these current HEPA filters that she found. She said she ordered them online from an Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier as well as the air filters were way cheaper compared to buying from a local hardware store. I found it difficult to think that I could get HEPA filters for a cheap price, however she was right. I noticed that I could save money by buying in bulk too, so I ordered a 12 pack of HEPA filters as well as they were delivered within 3 afternoons. I couldn’t think how fast the delivery was as well as it was about time for me to change our air filter anyway, so I just threw a HEPA filter in our Heating, Ventilation and A/C as well as the air quality improved a good deal in our home. I have a pretty relaxed day this week so I am going to just take it simple. I might also go by the local HVAC business to look at the latest HVAC technology, too. We are in the market to purchase a new thermostat for our A/C system. We want to see if we might be able to purchase it locally before going online to place an order. The one that we have is really old. It’s one of the old dial thermostats. We want to put it to rest, however first we would like to find a new smart thermostat that will do the things that we need it to do. I think that they cost way too much for what they do, but I guess they could actually save us a lot of time spent fiddling around with the settings on the thermostat. We mess around with the old one all the time. I suppose our dad put it in back in 1971. It’s really high time that we finally move on to a new type of thermostat. He left us with some money, and so we want to be sure that we spend it wisely. I just want to do things around the new house that will help improve our quality of life. My dad was in the HVAC business for many years. He gave us his HVAC company too and we ended up selling it for a nice profit. We are grateful for his help over the years, too! I just got a new puppy which I named after my dad so his name is Bennett. I think I will bring Bennett along with me to the local HVAC business later today when we go to see those new thermostats.Bennet really likes going for rides in the car with me with the windows down. I guess it’s like nature’s air conditioning vent blasting in his face.
