I’m so excited! My wife plus I have wanted a baby girl plus it’s finally happening.

Within the week I will be able to see her precious face plus hold her. The last 8 weeks have been grueling at best. Both of us have seen the dentist at least once a week plus in the last couple 2 a week. They are constantly checking up to make sure our baby is going to be healthy. Trying to name her was a back plus forth trial with our wife. Both of our parents tried to chime in but every one of us shut that down swiftly. They wanted to provide her a name from the 30’s. I’m not saying they are all terrible but the names they were giving us were not very what every one of us would’ve liked. After our long battle with our wife plus many foot rubs later every one of us finally chose a name, Autumn Rose Murphy. I know this is one of the most charming names every one of us could’ve given her. The final battle was the middle name though, however some would say why care about the middle name. I don’t know, she wanted it to be Rain plus all I can feel about is the club I’ll never tell her about. My wife went through cold plus tepid flashes. One minute she wanted the air conditioner on, then the next to turn the a/c off plus open the window. It didn’t stop there though, then she wanted the heating system on in 90 degree weather! It was bad for me but if this made her feel comfortable then I’m all for it. A Heating as well as Air Conditioning specialist came out as well. Whatever for this woman, I don’t care, I’m just gleeful to witness a new life named Autumn Rose Murphy!

My brother had a get-together at his beach house last winter. He had been working overseas for various weeks, plus when he returned home. The get-together started late in the day. I could tell that the heating unit was not efficient. Since it was a get-together, I decided to ask my brother about the unit’s state the following day. Something truly needed to improve in the whole home heating in that house. As I walked past the basement, I heard a rumbling noise, plus I instantly recognized it. The previous day, I had done a heat pump upgrade in a residence where the last machine emitted the same noise. Having worked in the heating industry for various years, I knew some issues did not need negotiation. It is as if you service the machine as soon as possible or get new heating from a heating dealer. When I was about to tell my brother to schedule furnace service for his system, I heard the clicking of a cocktail glass, plus he was about to make a speech. It came from the basement where the heat pump was, however later every one of us realized the bang was from a fuse, however it had not injured the system. Both of us called on a heating worker from the heating company who helped with indoor comfort. Fortunately, the heating company swiftly plus efficiently provided a solution. Most pressingly, the guests loved the get-together plus having my brother back.

I was talking to my dad last week, and I told him I had finally passed my HVAC certification test. Grandpa came into the room and congratulated me. He took dad and I into the basement where he was currently living, and headed to the backroom. He brought out an old tool bag and handed it to me. He said they were his original HVAC tools. I didn’t know grandpa was an HVAC technician. No one ever hinted at it. I was surprised my dad hadn’t told me grandpa was an HVAC technician. Grandpa was talking about the first time he repaired an air conditioning unit. He said he had never seen one, but he had learned about them in school. They were much bigger back then than they are now. He said they were noisy and only cooled the room it was in, and just a part of it, but people were happy to get one. Up until then, they had AC in stores and movie theaters. If you were fortunate enough to be rich, you may be able to have air conditioning in your house, but it didn’t happen often. He was called into the office as soon as he got into the HVAC office. They told him he was to go to the new restaurant, and install an air conditioning unit in the dining room. He said it was the closest he had gotten to an air conditioning, and he was so nervous and anxious, that he almost forgot to take his tools in with him. Dad was smiling, and I think I was in shock, still trying to figure out why no one had told me grandpa was an HVAC technician.

When my husband retired, he was worried what he would do with himself.

He thought he would take some time to relax.

He wanted to go fishing, on a hunting trip, and do some travelling with me. I slapped him when he put his fishing and hunting ahead of time with me, but he only laughed. He said he had so much to do, he think he could bored if he lived another thirty years. Thirty years lasted exactly two months, three days, fourteen hours, and six minutes. He sat in the living room with his paper, looking at nothing, and I asked him if he was okay. He said he should be working and not sitting around the house doing nothing. I asked him if he wanted to go back to the HVAC company. He threw the paper and pulled me over near him. He said he was fine, but just bored. I asked him if he wanted to work on his own. He could become a freelance HVAC technician and just service the people in the neighborhood. He wasn’t sure he would like that either. He was afraid they would be calling him all night long, but I assured him it didn’t work that way. All he had to do is tell them he only worked from 8 AM until 4PM, unless it was an absolute emergency. He asked me what constituted an emergency. I told him it had to be our HVAC system that is broken, or they had to be freezing to death. Everyone could survive a night without air conditioning, unless it was his wife.
