I recently had a big argument with my girlfriend.

It’s the first time that we’ve had a major argument in our relationship.

These things are bound to eventually happen, and it’s better to just get it all out and work through it then just sit and stew. Well, we came to an understanding, but I feel that I was a little harsh with my words. I wanted to remind my girlfriend that I love her no matter what, so I purchased some nice flowers for her. When I went to her apartment to present them to her, she came to the door and a wave of heat met me as she opened it. It turns out that she was having some serious issues with her air conditioning system. She looked like a hot mess, no pun intended. She appreciated the flowers, but I can tell she was agitated because of the air conditioner not working. Heating and air conditioning maintenance was something that never really came up before. Instinctively, I went to check on her air filter. When I pulled the air filter out, I almost gagged and I had to cough because of how much dirt and dander had choked it up! When she asked me what I was doing and why the thing I was holding was so dirty, I knew it was time for a little education in HVAC. Once I explained what the air filter was and why it was important to change it out regularly, my girlfriend clearly felt a little embarrassed about the whole ordeal, but that’s okay! You’ve got to learn sometime!

I went to an outdoor gun range just yesterday. It was the first time I had been to an outdoor range. I have always shot at indoor ranges. I have simply felt that practicing in the comfort of the air conditioner was the sensible thing to do. However, this time my friend convinced me to join you on the outdoor range. The only thing that I can honestly concede to him concerning outdoor ranges is that you have the chance to try and shoot bigger guns and there is longer range to work with, for obvious reasons. However, I prefer shooting in the air conditioner of an indoor range mostly because I shoot to practice for self-defense and I don’t really have any rifles or shotguns, just good old-fashioned pistols. Nevertheless, I decided to join my friend on this one. I must say, though it was fun to shoot the various guns that he brought with him, it was hot out there on that range! The sun was also bright to the point where it was difficult to see my target sometimes. Yes, while it was fun, I think I’ll be going to my favorite indoor range for now on. Debs, Mory’s housekeeper, bustled through the upstairs hallway, ensuring the other workers cleaned the house to her satisfaction.

Every spring and every fall, her vendetta against dirt reached heroic proportions. She ordered rug and carpets taken up, windows washed, drawers straightened, and closets cleared. They waxed and polished the house till it shone. No cobweb was safe, no dust mote protected from her keen eye. Mrs. Debs extended the same zeal to the a/c setup. Since she did not possess the skills of an a/c repairman, she called the air conditioning business for a technician. Mrs. Debs did her part regarding a/c care but left the more technical bit to the air conditioning professional. Mrs. Debs had a schedule for replacing the air conditioning filter as well as checking the ductwork for leaks. Mory rarely paid for a/c repair due to the excellent dedication of Mrs. Debs towards his central air conditioner. When the air conditioning company expert, Mrs. Debs, relayed all the observations she had made since the last a/c service. It made work much easier for the serviceman even before he started working on the air conditioning install unit. During the previous maintenance, a new climate control device was implemented. The digital thermostat made life much easier for Mrs. Debs and the whole of Mory’s household. The air conditioner also performed better. They all dreaded the day Mrs. Debs would resign. She had raised all three of Mory’s children. Mory’s wife cherished her in every way. Mrs. Debs was not related to them by blood, but she was family in all the ways that counted.

The owner, Mr. Paul, kept getting sick. One evening while I was taking out the trash, we began a conversation. He was complaining that his sinuses kept getting infected. A week later, I checked with my neighbor, who confirmed that the issue with his sinuses had reduced. He was feeling much better. We discovered that the pet dander and dust from the pets made him sick. The filters in the unit helped to filter out these pollutants. The new unit significantly improved the quality of air within the shop. The filters would also help reduce a/c repairs in the future.
