So there were more than 2 things that I was sort of dreading when our fiance and I finally decided to sell the house.

The system of going through an adult lifetime worth of stuff was high on the list of the stuff I didn’t want to do.

But with that came the fact that we’d be residing in an beach house for a year after both of us sold the house. I was not looking forward to beach house residing. The memories of neighbors sharing walls, unacceptable heating and cooling and cramped spaces didn’t help either. But first, both of us had a lot to do before both of us got to residing in the apartment. I coordinated the HVAC equipment update with the HVAC company. They were superb to labor with. The realtor suggested that both of us go with some of the latest in HVAC technology to entice prospective customers. So the HVAC professionals were able to help myself and others get the latest in residential HVAC without spending too much money. My fiance diagnosed the dining room updates and both of us did the rest together. All the packing and sorting was indeed as bad as I thought it would be. It’s taxing going from a substantial lake home to a two study room apartment. It was all both of us could do to get out of the home by the deadline. However, I will say that the beach house both of us ended up choosing was way better than what both of us had envisioned. For one thing, the place had really wonderful quality heating and cooling. The HVAC equipment was relatively new and was of really wonderful quality. So that was absolutely a blessing.

I’m not so sure that I’m all that into residing where I am.

This is the first time I’ve ever lived in a gated community and I’m not sure it’s for me.

Had I not made a really wonderful investment, this wouldn’t be happening at all anyway. I was particularly quite happy in the small 3 study room home I had prior to hitting it rich. In fact, just before that investment exploded, I had updated our lake home with a ductless multi split heating and cooling system. This is using a series of ductless heat pumps for the heating and cooling of our home. They worked out superb as a matter of fact. It’s pretty cool because the condenser and compressor particularly hide up under the eaves of that house. If I had the ductless heat pumps in our new home, I wouldn’t be getting hassled so much by the HOA. The fact is that the HOA is threatening all manner of actions because our HVAC lodgeet is faded. That’s right, the HVAC lodgeet has paint that has been faded by the sun. So they want myself and others to replace it. That’s silly as this residential HVAC still has more than a decade of life to it. I found that out from the HVAC professionals when I had them inspect the HVAC equipment prior to buying the house. I’ve provided to have the HVAC equipment painted or even suggested that I could put in a shrub. Regardless, I’m just not sure that I want to live in a community where people treat each other this way.

I really strive to get the most I can from the money that I spend.

There is no shame for myself and others when it comes to cutting coupons or doing whatever I need to do to save on retail. It came with plenty of HVAC technology that was pretty new just more than six years ago. Now, this sort of HVAC technology is pretty typical stuff. Just goes to show how much HVAC technology can change in such a short space of time. There are a lot of people in this country that are really suffering through the brutal chilly of Wintertide right now.

So it makes myself and others feel a bit guilty to be so completely happy for the Wintertide I’m experiencing.

We don’t have to deal with all the snow and ice. Plus, the high cost of HVAC heating isn’t something both of us have to worry about at all. In fact, the heat pump at our home costs almost nothing to heat the house. That’s because the heat pump is rarely called upon to heat our home. That’s the sort of Wintertide that I’ve been dealing with. But still, this is the first full Wintertide that I’ve been able to completely embrace. Prior years were a mix of affectionate the weather and fearing the Spring. That’s because the Spring brings so much tree and lawn pollen to this area. The first of the pollen dumps has already started as I can see a yellow film on our automobile most days. And yet, I’m still jubilant.
